ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Անտոնիո Գուտերեշը հայտարարել է, որ աշխարհը կարող է աղետի առաջ կանգնել՝ կապված երկրների համար պարենի հասանելիության աճող խնդրի հետ, փոխանցում է Ինտերֆաքսը։

«Այս տարի պարենամթերքի հասանելիության հետ կապված խնդիրները կարող են հանգեցնել հաջորդ տարի սննդի գլոբալ սղության: Ոչ մի երկիր զերծ չի մնա նման աղետի սոցիալական և տնտեսական հետևանքներից»,- Գուտերեշի խոսքերն է մեջբերում Associated Press-ը:

ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարի խոսքով՝ իրական վտանգ կա, որ 2022 թվականին աշխարհը կարող է ապրել սովի պատճառով առաջացած մի քանի ճգնաժամեր։ Նրա կանխատեսմամբ՝ 2023 թվականին իրավիճակը միայն կվատթարանա։
